We are offering a beautiful VINTAGE (late 1800s) D.F. Haynes & Co. Calvertine-style Pitcher. This is a lovely Victorian pitcher and bowl, with a lion's head on the handle and the old man of the north on the spout along with gold trimmed flowers in relief for the design. The bottom is simply marked with a gold number 2.
Measurements: The pitcher measures about 11 inches tall X 10 inches from handle to spout X 5 inch diameter opening.
Condition: This piece is in overall good, vintage condition. There are a few marks and this piece is highly crazed. The gold paint is wearing from natural wear. There is a 1 1/4" crack in the opening on the inside near the spout (see photos below). There is some stains inside. Overall this piece will still display beautifully.
