Auction Genie Presents: We are offering a Vintage Moderntone Cobalt Blue Salt and Pepper Shakers! These shakers were manufactured by the Hazel Atlas Glass Company in the early 1900s!
The Hazel Atlas Glass Company was created by the merging of the Hazel Glass Company and the Atlas Glass and Metal Company, both of Washington, PA in 1902. Hazel Atlas opened its headquarters in Wheeling, West Virginia. In 1929 they began to make colored glass. They made green, pink, topaz, cobalt blue, black, crystal, white milk glass (wmg) and dark amethyst glass creations. The company was taken over by Continental Can in 1956.
Measurements: Approximately 4 inches tall X 1 1/2 circumference base.
Condition: These glass shakers are in overall good vintage condition. There are no chips, marks, damages, or repairs to the glass. The metal tops are tarnished and dented- one more so than the other
